以前在上蚂蜂窝的时候我经常有疑问：这世界上还有比这个更长的消息菜单吗？
后来我发现还是有的。。。新浪微博的消息菜单以 11 个项目完爆蚂蜂窝，而且这 11 个项目里是实打实的 10 个动词“查看”
Most Ugly Government Websites
Government websites represent the spirit of different nations. But some of them are really ugly maybe because these websites will never have competitors in the market.
Apparently I can’t go through all the government websites, so just let me share with you the winners of all the 5 continents:
Asia - China
Asia has so many bad practices of ugly government websites, but none of other countries are as huge as China. We have more than 1.3B people but just couldn’t find a suitable designer to designer a better version?
America - Cuba
They apparently forgot to remind the users “This website is recommended to view under 640x480 resolution”
Europe - Slovenia
This really reminds me of my first website build-up class back to 90’s…
Oceanian - Fiji
Have you counted how many checks are there in this single page?
Africa - Burundi
You must check out the live version, this must be the most dynamic government website! The flag is animating, the portrait of the leaders are sliding( or distorting ) all the time. They are just making me blind! And not mention the banners on the bottom!

It’s another kind of ‘ugly’, ripping off Path interface is now a trend in China small start-ups. These are actually just a few, there are more path copycats in the App Store
I enjoyed Halfbrick’s games quite a lot and I was amazed by the creative main screen of Fruit Ninja. But I’m never into their treatments on the logo and splash. The reflections just doesn’t work!
The double 15-item list menus are quite insane!
I hate this screen while I understand why it’s like this, there is so much content to fill in. But why do you use so few margins!!! And why don’t you align all the logos!!!
It’s year 2012, but those icons remind me of the days back in 1995…
